Drager -Savox B.A.set and hands free Communication system : Fire fighters need an efficient hands free communication system that can easily fit onto the existing Breathing Apparatus Mask or Helmet to enable them to communicate amongst themselves in the chaotic surroundings encountered in any fire fighting operation.

The communicaton system with two speakers for the GALLET-Helmets

The Dräger HS1-COM and Dräger HS2-COM helmet communication units are durable and lightweight accessories for professionals working in extreme conditions with helmets and (SCBA) face masks. The units provide clear and reliable ”hands-free“ communication, thus increasing personal safety and working efficiency. The bone conduction microphone
speaker combinations comfortably mount in most types of integral helmets and make a perfect combination with a breathing mask. The bone conduction microphone is voice sensitive and is protected inside the helmet from wind, water, wear and tear. Ideal for fire and emergency services, special forces etc. Dräger HS1-COM and Dräger HS2- COM connect via the Dräger COM control unit (PTT) to most types of portable radios. The unit is intrinsically safe.

The Dräger SAVOX MS-COM is a very durable and light communication unit designed for use with Dräger full face masks. It easily mounts to the mask with a simple clip-on system. Thanks to its flat, ergonomic design, it can easily be used with a Gallet firefighting helmet. The Dräger MS-COM provides instant, clear and reliable “hands-free” communication, increasing personal safety and work efficiency and allowing full concentration on the actual task. The Dräger MS-COM complies with the EN 136 standard and is easy to handle, mount and dismantle. The housing of the speaker unit is made of extremely rugged plastic material. The intrinsically safe MS-COM unit connects to the Dräger COM control/ PTT-unit which is adaptable to most types of two-way radios.
