Polytron Controller

The Polytorn Controller is the central unit of a Polytron gas detection system. It includes device racks and channel modules for 4 to 20 mA transmitters and SE Ex sensing heads. The device rackes (3 HU) are provided tobe installed in cabinets or control panels. Depoending on the rack type the device racks can house 2, 5, or 12 plug-in channel modules and one acknowledgement modules behind a common front plate. The Polytro Controller is a flexible and expandable system standing for maximum operational safety and optimal system availability. 4 to 20 mA-channel modules and the SE Ex channel modules can freely be combined. Features : Supply and signal evaluton of 2-, 3- and 4-wire-transmitters and SE Ex catalytic sensing heads. 2 alarms per channel, configurable as latching or non latching alarms 1 failure alarm per channel Fail-safe alarm- and failure-relays Floating relay contacts (250 V, 2 A) configuable as normally open or normally closed contacts. 4 to20 mA-Output

REGARD 4-20 mA

The REGARD 4-20mA single channel control card is a universal control card for all analogue gas detectors. Each card is fully configurable to match the parameters of an associa- ted gas detector. The control card is fully independent and standalone, or can be addressed to interface with other system cards. REGARD 8-channel display

The REGARD 8-channel dispaly card and module allow the connection of up to eight analogue gas detectors to one interface. Each card operates independ ently with common alarm relays, or can be addressed to interface with other system cards. The 8-channel interface module can be remotely located up to 1 km from the control card. Features : – Measuring for Tox, Ex or O2 – Fully configurable – Simple operation – Continuous display – Password protected – Local or remote input module for up to eight 4-20 mA transmitters.

REGARD Control system overview

The REGARD gas detecton system is a universal control system for the detection, annunciation and alarming, should a flammable or toxic gas relesas occur. The system comprises of many differnt control cards and modules. Each control card in the system operates indeopendentily, or can be combined together with other cards to extend system functionality and integrity.
